Role description
Are you someone keen to tell a story with data? Do you have an inquisitive mindset which will help make a positive difference across University Hospitals of Northamptonshire?
We are looking for an experienced analyst to join us on a fixed term basis covering maternity leave until 31st March 2027.
You will be supporting the team through a planned PAS go-live in addition to an exciting programme of work around the use of FDP as a data platform for our analytics. You will support our stakeholders across UHN by developing close working relationships with teams across the organisation, making data instantly accessible and moving the conversation to what the data tells us.
We are predominantly a remote team so fully support remote and flexible working. We do however have team meetings once a month which are hosted on site depending on their content and there may be other times where an on-site presence is required to support stakeholders.
Informal enquiries should be directed to Sarah Jeffreys and Suzanne Middleton, Health Intelligence Divisional Leads (sarah.jeffreys2@nhs.net and suzanne.middleton@nhs.net).
The post holder will be a key part of the Health Intelligence Insights & Partnerships team, proactively engaging with colleagues and key contacts internally and externally.
Responsible for supporting the production of timely and accurate reports and bespoke pieces of analysis, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual responsibilities, supporting decision making, and improving performance.
The post holder requires strong analytical and statistical skills/knowledge with an in-depth experience of stakeholder management and analytics delivery for operational, performance and planning decision support.
Northampton General Hospital is one of the largest employers in the area and we are on an exciting journey. All of our divisions are committed to doing things better, with more efficiency as we update, modernise, and advance. We have also entered into a Group Model with neighbouring Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and become University Hospitals of Northamptonshire.
