Role Description
We are seeking a Principal Snowflake Architect for a contract-based hybrid role located in Alpharetta, GA, with the opportunity for some remote work. The role involves designing and implementing enterprise data solutions on Snowflake and other cloud platforms while collaborating with data and development teams. The Principal Snowflake Architect will be responsible for creating scalable architecture, managing the migration process, developing pipelines, and ensuring optimal performance for Snowflake-based data infrastructure. This position requires close interaction with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights that align with business objectives.
Qualifications
β’ Proficiency in Snowflake, database architecture, and cloud-based data warehousing
β’ Experience in developing ETL pipelines, data modeling, and performance optimization
β’ Strong expertise in SQL and working knowledge of programming languages such as Python
β’ Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools
β’ Skills in collaborating across teams to extract requirements and delivering technical solutions
β’ Effective communication abilities for stakeholder interaction and documentation
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
β’ Certifications in Snowflake, AWS, or other relevant cloud platforms are highly advantageous
