Principal/Level III Ping Engineer 6+ months Tysons Corner, VA || San Antonio, TX O 1st: Virtual O 2nd: Onsite (may include light technical exercises) Job description: We have a high-priority need for a Principal / Level III Ping Engineer supporting an enterprise IAM environment. This is a strong opportunity targeting senior-level talent with deep Ping and SSO/federation experience. Top Requirements (Must-Haves) • Strong Ping Identity experience (PingFederate, PingAccess) • Exposure to PingOne (cloud), PingOne MFA, and DaVinci • Hands-on SSO integrations (SAML, OAuth2, OIDC) • Experience working directly with app owners / tech owners • MFA setup/support (PingID / PingOne MFA) • Experience supporting cloud IAM migration (on-prem → SaaS model) • REST API experience + ability to test flows using Postman • Comfortable in production support (L3) environments Nice to Have • PingOne DaVinci experience (or similar orchestration tools) • Experience with API security / token-based authentication • Basic scripting / automation skills What the Manager Is Looking For • Hands-on engineers (focus on what THEY built/delivered—not just team contributions) • Strong communicators who can work cross-functionally • Experience in enterprise or regulated environments • Candidates who can operate at a Principal-level ownership mindset
