Role description
Position: Privacy Analyst, Privacy Legal Duration: 6 Months+ Location: Remote, USA Pay Range: $60-$70/Hr We are looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful Privacy Analyst for the Privacy Legal team. As a Privacy Analyst, you'll work closely with our cross-functional partners who are Privacy Engineers on the SPACE (Security, Privacy, Assurance, and Corporate Engineering) Consulting team. This role will conduct technical and legal privacy reviews and provide actionable guidance to engineering and product teams to ensure privacy requirements are integrated directly into the software development lifecycle. The successful candidate is passionate about privacy and protecting users, but even more passionate about process and scale. What You’ll Do: β€’ Privacy Technical Reviews: Perform deep-dive assessments of product designs, data flows, and codebases to identify privacy gaps. β€’ Privacy-by-Design: Partner with engineering teams during the design phase to embed data minimization, purpose limitation, and obfuscation techniques. β€’ Implementation Guidance: Provide clear, technical requirements for data deletion pipelines, automated labeling, and consent management systems. β€’ Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the technical bridge between Legal, Security, and Product to resolve conflicting requirements and provide objective risk analysis. β€’ Establish Paved Paths: Document known patterns and identify areas for self-service options for future launches. What We’re Looking For: β€’ 5+ years experience in a consulting, engineering, program manager, or equivalent role associated with privacy, security, legal or compliance organizations. β€’ Hands-on experience in working with engineering organizations who can do code review, understand the architecture and micro services. β€’ Experience with data privacy requirements stemming from regulatory and legislative mandates including CCPA, GDPR, and state data breach notification laws. β€’ Ability to analyze and assess data privacy control capabilities and provide remediation recommendations. β€’ Experience supporting the design and implementation of best-in-class privacy or other compliance programs. β€’ Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with others. β€’ Exceptional independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability to changing priorities. β€’ Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects under deadline pressure.
