Process Improvement Data Analyst

Pay: $46-50 Duration:1 year Process Improvement Data Analyst Location: Fairport, NY Note: will be supporting onsite 4-5 days/week during the training period. Once complete, a hybrid schedule of 3-4 days onsite & 1-2 days remote. Schedule: Full-time, M-F, 8am-5pm Scope of Position: • Support the Project/Program Management group in driving process improvement initiatives across the organization. • This Analyst will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making by developing and maintaining metrics, dashboards, and digital workflows. • The role will focus on enhancing visibility into project performance, resource utilization, and process efficiency through tools like Power BI, Planview, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint. • The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools, and the ability to collaborate across functions to support continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics. • Support the migration of project management data and workflows from SharePoint to Planview, ensuring data integrity and usability. • Assist in the transition of SharePoint 2016 content to a modern SharePoint environment, including workflows, lists, and document libraries. • Design and implement Power Automate workflows to streamline manual processes and improve operational efficiency. • Support the development of Power Apps to digitize forms and enable mobile-friendly data entry and tracking. • Collaborate with process improvement teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable data and automation solutions. • Ensure data quality and consistency across systems by developing validation rules and performing regular audits. • Document processes, create training materials, and support onboarding of team members to new tools and systems. • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support decision-making and strategic planning. • Stay current with updates and best practices in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Planview, and SharePoint. Required Education/Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or Associates degree (Bachelors preferred). Associate's degree (minimum required) plus relevant experience. • 3-5 years of experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or project support role. • Power BI, Power Apps, and SharePoint experience required • Experience with Planview or similar project portfolio management tools would be preferred • Familiarity with SharePoint administration and workflow migration. Required Skills: • Experience in data visualization and storytelling with Power BI. • Understanding of project management principles and tools. Desired Skills: • Experience with Planview configuration and reporting. • Knowledge of data governance and master data management concepts. • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. • Experience working in a manufacturing or operations environment. • Exposure to ETL processes, data modeling, or cloud-based data platforms.
