PRODUCT ANALYST OR A TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST

This position is only for W2 Role: PRODUCT ANALYST OR A TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST Location: Midtown NYC or Wilmington DE, 5 days a week Duration: 12+ Months THIS POSITION IS MORE OF A PRODUCT ANALYST AND/OR TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST THAN A PRODUCT MANAGER. CANDIDATES NEED TO COME OUT OF A TECHNICAL BANKING BACKGROUND (DEVELOPMENT IN THEIR PAST IS A HOMERUN/API) AND HAVE SOLID EXPERIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING OF API AND THE CREDIT CARD PROCESS. Notes and new job description below. • • • • THIS IS A VERY TECHNICAL BUSINESS OR PRODUCT ANALYST AND MUST HAVE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE OR AT LEAST API MENTIONED ON THE RESUME. Skills Required: • 5–8+ years of experience in product management within card issuing platforms or transaction processing systems. • Experience working on in-house platforms (not just third-party issuer processors). • Deep understanding of authorization message flows (ISO 8583), credit card transaction lifecycle, decisioning logic, and payment rails. • Strong knowledge of banking and payment compliance, such as PCI DSS, and an understanding of authorization risk. • Hands-on experience working with technology teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities. • Comfort working in a fast-paced, highly matrixed enterprise environment like a top-tier bank. • Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL (for data analysis), and API documentation tools.
