Product Data Analyst (12-Month FTC / Secondment) Location: Bristol, United Kingdom (Hybrid Working) Employment Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract / Secondment Salary: Competitive Overview Our client is seeking a skilled Product Data Analyst to join a multidisciplinary product team focused on delivering data-driven solutions across a large-scale operational environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, engineers, data scientists, and analysts to transform complex business challenges into actionable data insights and scalable solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in data analysis, solution design, product delivery, business testing, and continuous improvement initiatives while helping to enhance data literacy and analytical capability across the wider organisation. This position is ideal for a technically strong analyst who enjoys collaborating across business and technology teams to drive meaningful outcomes. Responsibilities • Work with business stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions. • Provide data analysis and actionable insights to support product delivery and business decision-making. • Support the design, development, and continuous improvement of data and reporting solutions. • Contribute to data model design and data architecture initiatives. • Utilise platforms and tools such as Snowflake, Oracle OAS, and Oracle DV to develop scalable data products. • Build and maintain tactical data solutions where required. • Provide business context and subject matter expertise to Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, and Data Scientists. • Participate in user acceptance testing and support validation of delivered solutions. • Investigate and resolve data issues, production incidents, and business queries. • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of data products, analytics capabilities, and delivery processes. • Promote data literacy by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues across business and product teams. • Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to improve data quality, governance, testing, and engineering practices. • Build strong relationships across technical and business functions while effectively communicating complex information. • Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and stakeholder engagement activities. Requirements Essential Experience • Demonstrable experience in data analysis and generating insights that support business decision-making. • Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders. • Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical deliverables. • Experience supporting product, project, or delivery teams within a fast-paced environment. • Experience sharing knowledge and supporting capability development across teams. Technical Skills • Strong SQL skills with experience extracting, manipulating, and analysing data from multiple sources. • Experience working with: • Snowflake • Oracle OAS • Oracle DV • Modern Business Intelligence platforms • Understanding of data modelling principles and data solution design. • Experience working with modern data platforms and analytics environments. • Python experience is highly desirable. • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and testing practices.
