About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Product Owner to drive the transition from legacy systems to a cloud-native data ecosystem. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in product management, strong experience with data analysis and visualization tools (SQL, Python, Tableau), and familiarity with cloud platforms. They should be skilled in Agile, especially SAFe, able to prioritize backlogs, lead ceremonies, and translate complex technical requirements into actionable user stories. Communication and critical thinking are key—they need to align stakeholders, ensure data products are usable and governed, and help the team deliver high-value outcomes, and champion the use of data for decision-making at every level of product development.
Key Responsibilities
• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, with a strong focus on data products and analytics.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, modeling, and visualization using tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of experience in backlog refinement and prioritization, ideally within SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks.
• Deep critical thinking and systems thinking skills to connect technical solutions with business strategy.
• Familiarity with cloud-native data platforms and product development, including migration strategies and scalability.
• Experience working in enterprise environments, preferably in financial services or cloud transformation initiatives.
• Ability to synthesize complex data and technical inputs into actionable product features.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Tools & Technologies
• SQL, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Amazon QuickSight
• Knowledge of data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
