Role description
Join a dynamic team as a Product Data & Taxonomy Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing product data management and standardization efforts. This contract position offers an opportunity to collaborate on innovative projects and contribute to the development of consistent product universes. Responsibilities β€’ Develop and maintain comprehensive product universes for key categories, ensuring consistent data coverage and detailed reporting. β€’ Apply and manage standardized product attributes, ensuring accuracy across all product items. β€’ Create and update documentation and attribute dictionaries to support accurate and repeatable processes. β€’ Validate product coding against existing taxonomies and ensure consistency across datasets. β€’ Work collaboratively to create rules and automations for efficient classification tasks. β€’ Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to empower internal teams for sustainable workflow management. β€’ Efficiently handle large datasets using Excel, SQL, or other relevant tools. β€’ Support monthly product maintenance by coding new items and aligning them with existing categories. Skills β€’ Minimum of 2 years of experience in data coding, product attribution, taxonomy, or related fields. β€’ Proficient in Excel, including the use of formulas, filters, and pivot tables. β€’ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. β€’ Excellent communication skills for effective knowledge transfer and documentation. Preferred Skills β€’ Familiarity with SQL or similar data management tools. β€’ Experience with Nielsen, Stackline, or POS analytics is advantageous. β€’ Comfortable working with large datasets and applying structured rules consistently.
