Contract Role (W2 Only) | Fully Remote Summary β€’ Approximately 90% of people use Client’s products from outside of North America. The International Product Growth and Insights (IPGI) team plays a crucial role in breaking down the barriers for our international users such that Client products feel local at a global scale. β€’ By applying your technical skills, analytical mindset, and business intuition to one of the richest data sets in the world, you will help define the experiences we build for billions of people and hundreds of millions of businesses around the world. You will use data and analysis to identify and solve the needs of users in international markets' biggest challenges. β€’ You will partner with International Product Growth Managers, engineers, product managers, designers, data scientists, researchers, and other cross-functional teams to inform, influence, support, and execute international growth strategy and investment decisions across Client’s products. Job Responsibilities β€’ Identify and measure success of international product growth efforts through goal setting, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting of key product metrics to understand local market trends and insights. β€’ Apply technical skills with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and the presentation of data to develop international product growth strategies. β€’ Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of meaningful problems using different analytical and statistical approaches. β€’ Partner with International Product Growth Managers, engineers, product managers, designers, data scientists, researchers, and other cross-functional teams to inform, influence, support, and execute international growth strategy and investment decisions across Client’s products. Skills β€’ Analytics & Data Skills – Strong proficiency in data analysis, including experience with SQL, Python, or R for querying and manipulating large datasets. Ability to design, execute, and interpret analyses to inform product strategy and business decisions. β€’ Product & Marketing Acumen – Understanding of product growth strategies, especially in international markets. β€’ International Experience – Experience working on products or projects targeting international markets, or personal experience living/studying outside of home country. Awareness of regional trends, cultural nuances, and market-specific challenges. β€’ Cross-Functional Collaboration – Strong communication skills to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders. Education/Experience β€’ Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. β€’ 3+ years of work experience in analytics or 2+ years of experience with a Master’s Degree. β€’ Capacity to work with teams based outside of North America across multiple time zones. β€’ Experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and A/B testing statistics knowledge. β€’ Experience performing analyses with minimal direction to answer ambiguous open-ended questions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities β€’ Data Analysis & Insights Identify and measure success of international product growth efforts through goal setting, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting of key product metrics. Apply technical skills with quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining to develop international product growth strategies. β€’ Solving Market-Specific Problems Work with large and complex data sets to solve meaningful problems using different analytical and statistical approaches. Detect, evaluate, and seize high-impact local opportunities for Client products by translating the needs of international communities into product recommendations. β€’ Cross-Functional Partnership Partner with International Product Growth Managers, engineers, product managers, designers, data scientists, researchers, and other cross-functional teams. Inform, influence, support, and execute intern. Must-Have Skills β€’ Advanced Data Analytics & Technical Proficiency Strong experience with SQL, Python, or R for querying and manipulating large datasets (SQL Heavily Preferred) Ability to design, execute, and interpret analyses to inform product strategy and business decisions. Experience with A/B testing and statistical analysis to measure product impact and success. β€’ International Product & Market Acumen Deep understanding of product growth strategies, especially in international markets. Awareness of regional trends, cultural nuances, and market-specific challenges. Experience working on products/projects targeting international markets or personal experience living/studying abroad. β€’ Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication Strong communication skills to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders. Ability to work with International Product Growth Managers, engineers, product managers, designers, data scientists, and researchers. Experience influencing and supporting international growth strategy and investment decisions across Client’s products. β€’ Interview Process Round 1: SQL & Analysis.
