Location: Charlotte, NC (Uptown) – Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Duration: 12–24 months (extensions expected; possible conversion)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner / Business Analyst with deep experience in financial products, balance sheet forecasting, and enterprise data management. This role will support a large-scale initiative to migrate data from multiple legacy systems into a new, consolidated environment. The ideal candidate is an independent, analytical problem solver with strong expertise in deposits, derivatives, and enterprise-level datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support efforts to migrate data from legacy systems into a modernized, consolidated platform.
• Identify, analyze, and rationalize large and complex datasets (e.g., consolidating 150+ sources into ~11).
• Work with cross-functional teams to execute daily and weekly regulatory reporting processes.
• Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Partner closely with IT and business stakeholders during development and conversion activities.
• Write, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting.
• Research and resolve data anomalies in Production and UAT environments.
• Write high-quality user stories and define clear business requirements in an Agile framework.
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and management to troubleshoot issues, drive solutions, and meet business goals.
• Interact with internal customers to ensure alignment and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience with financial products (Deposits, Derivatives).
• 2+ years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst in an Agile environment.
• Strong expertise with enterprise-level datasets and data migration projects.
• Proven ability to define requirements and write clear user stories.
• Strong understanding of Balance Sheet and Income Statement concepts.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, pivot tables, intermediate formulas).
• Experience supporting management reporting.
Preferred / Bonus Skills:
• Experience with financial month-end close.
• Liquidity risk reporting (e.g., FR2052a, LCR, NSFR, ILST, 165d).
• Regulatory reporting experience (FR Y-14, Basel, etc.).
• Broker-dealer liquidity forecasting.
• Capital management or derivative reporting experience.
• Certified Scrum Master or Product Owner certification.
• Middle Office experience.
• Familiarity with JIRA for story creation and tracking.
• Hands-on experience in QA & UAT processes.
• Background in treasury or liquidity-focused functions.
• Screening / Experience Questions
Candidates should be prepared to provide:
• Years of experience with Balance Sheet or Income Statement analysis.
• Years of treasury experience.
• Years of experience using JIRA.
• Level of experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience conducting QA/UAT.
• Depth of experience writing and executing SQL queries.
