Job Summary
We are seeking a Production Planner to support production planning activities, ensuring material availability, production continuity, and on-time delivery. This role combines production planning expertise with strong analytical skills to optimize planning processes, improve operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop and maintain production plans to meet customer demand and manufacturing schedules.
β’ Monitor and maintain planning parameters, including safety stock, reorder points, lead times, lot sizes, and MRP settings.
β’ Analyze production, inventory, and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities.
β’ Generate reports and dashboards to support Production Planning and Operations.
β’ Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to resolve material and capacity constraints.
β’ Support root cause analysis for production shortages, late orders, and planning exceptions.
β’ Maintain planning master data and ensure ERP data accuracy.
β’ Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and planning process optimization.
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Supply Chain Management.
β’ 3+ years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain, or Purchasing.
β’ Strong understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and production planning principles.
β’ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and data analysis.
β’ Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with SAP (S/4HANA or ECC), particularly PP, MM, or Supply Chain modules (strongly preferred).
β’ APICS CPIM Certification (strongly preferred).
β’ Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
β’ SQL query writing and troubleshooting experience.
β’ Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar analytics platforms.
β’ MBA is a plus.
