Profile Developer (PSL & MUMPS)

Video 100% Remote 12–24 Months (Long-Term, with strong potential for extension) Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder About The Role We are seeking an experienced Profile Developer (PSL & MUMPS) to join our Retail Bank Technology team. This role focuses on design, coding, testing, and integration of core banking software, with an emphasis on Profile Core, MUMPS, and PSL scripting. You will play a key role in bank modernization projects, including Discover integration, and collaborate with technical leaders and business owners to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet critical financial services requirements. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Development Team Leads and business stakeholders to refine project requirements. Translate business needs into detailed design specifications. Design, develop, and test banking applications using Profile Core, PSL, and MUMPS. Ensure stability, reliability, confidentiality, and integrity of banking systems in line with company policies. Support bank modernization initiatives and contribute to integration efforts with external financial partners. Track issues, bugs, and resolutions using JIRA. Contribute to process improvements and product stability initiatives. Work effectively in an Agile environment delivering within 2-week sprint cycles. Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team. Must-Have Skills & Experience 5+ years of professional development experience with Profile Core (PSL & MUMPS) in a banking or financial services environment. Strong experience in banking software development, including financial products and reporting features. Experience with bank modernization and Discover integration projects. Hands-on expertise with scripting languages (Shell scripts, Awk). Understanding of multi-tier system design and implementation. Working knowledge of cloud engineering concepts. Solid grasp of banking concepts, workflows, and compliance standards. Nice to Have Experience integrating Profile with modern APIs or cloud services. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. Exposure to enterprise-scale Agile/Scrum delivery models.
