Role description
Immediate remote contract opportunity for a Programmatic Mobile Display Advertising Senior Campaign Consultant to be a key leader on our digital team. You will oversee the strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting of complex programmatic mobile campaigns. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in programmatic platforms, a strong analytical mindset, and proven success delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
5+ years of hands-on experience managing programmatic mobile display campaigns, preferably in an agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:
β’ Develop and execute end-to-end programmatic mobile display campaign strategies aligned with client objectives.
β’ Advise clients on the latest trends, tactics, and best practices in mobile programmatic advertising.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, data, analytics, account management) to deliver integrated solutions.
Campaign Management:
β’ Own the setup, launch, monitoring, and ongoing optimization of programmatic mobile display campaigns across multiple DSPs (e.g., Media Math/Infillion, Simpli.fi, The Trade Desk, Xandr, etc.).
β’ Ensure flawless execution, trafficking, and troubleshooting of campaigns to maximize performance and efficiency.
β’ Implement and manage audience segmentation, geo-targeting, creative rotation, frequency capping, and other advanced features.
Optimization & Analysis:
β’ Monitor campaign performance daily, using analytics tools and dashboards to identify and action opportunities for improvement.
β’ Apply A/B testing, creative and audience optimization, and bid strategies to achieve KPIs (e.g., CPA, CTR, ROAS, etc.).
β’ Conduct deep-dive analyses and deliver actionable insights to internal teams and clients.
Reporting & Communication:
β’ Provide regular, insightful reporting and presentations to clients, highlighting key metrics, campaign learnings, and recommendations.
β’ Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and platform partners.
β’ Understanding of Tableau or other BI reporting tools is a plus.
Leadership & Mentorship:
β’ Mentor junior campaign managers and coordinators, sharing expertise and best practices.
β’ Contribute to process improvement and innovation within the programmatic team.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field (Masterβs preferred).
β’ 5+ years of hands-on experience managing programmatic mobile display campaigns, preferably in an agency or high-growth environment.
β’ Must fully understand the performance criteria used in mobile display in terms of CPA, CPM, CTR, and other relevant KPIβs.
β’ Deep understanding of household marketing, panel data (e.g., Four Square, Placer.io, In-Market)
β’ Expert-level proficiency in major DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, Xandr, etc.) and mobile measurement partners (MMPs).
β’ Deep understanding of programmatic ecosystem, including data providers, ad verification, brand safety, and privacy regulations.
β’ Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, data visualization, and campaign analytics platforms.
β’ Exceptional project management and communication skills.
β’ Demonstrated track record of exceeding campaign KPIs and driving client growth.
β’ Experience with team leadership or mentoring is a plus.
