Role description
Position: Programmer Analyst - W2-CONTRACT ROLE
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – Onsite Wed/Thurs from Day 1)
Duration: 1 Year (Possible Extension)
Interview Process: MS Teams Video Interview
Note: No remote-only option. Candidates must be onsite from Day 1. Non-local candidates must be willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Design and develop dashboards using Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, and Crystal Reports.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Create and optimize queries in Hummingbird BI Query.
• Architect end-to-end AWS data pipelines (S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Redshift, Kinesis, SageMaker).
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Document processes and reporting standards.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in report development and data analysis in large-scale environments.
• 3+ years of AI Data Engineering experience with AWS platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in Python, PySpark, and Advanced Data Structures.
• 3+ years of experience in Teradata Data Warehouse and ETL utilities.
• Proficiency in SQL, Hummingbird BI/Query, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Strong dashboard development and data visualization expertise.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehouse concepts (Teradata preferred).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Medicaid or healthcare reporting.
• Experience in cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
