Role description
Position: Program/Project Analyst 2 Location: Pomona CA 91768 (Hybrid) Duration: 18 months (possible extension) Description: Three to Five years experience in an analytical position utilizing database programs and spreadsheet software. Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting, analyzing and drawing conclusions on data and information. Demonstrated experience in performing a variety of functions and handling programs, projects, and assignments. Candidate must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills. This position analyzes, codes, tests and documents moderately complex applications programs from detailed specifications. Incumbent may assist with preparing specifications from which programs will be written. -Demonstrates working knowledge of 2 (preferred) programming languages, report production, and database structures. Demonstrates working knowledge of software and hardware tools supporting primary system operations. Demonstrates knowledge of systems development, hardware/software and project methodology, preferred. Associates degree in a related field required. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred. Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload This role will be supporting key Remediation Management activities and short-term project workstreams with limited inter-dependencies. Responsibilities include program management tasks, tracking deliverables, and analyzing data and feedback to ensure alignment with Transmission & Distribution notification scope. The role also involves gathering and interpreting program performance data for reporting to sr advisors / advisors. This individual will collaborate closely with sr advisor / advisors, regional and district stakeholders, and serve as a technical resource for notification compliance and remediation processes. β€’ Supports the execution target by ensuring Compliance Notification work moves through the IPSEC workflow by the compliance due date contributing to public safety, mitigating risk for the public and the company. β€’ Utilize and analyze output from dashboards, trackers, and systems of record to monitor, track, and report on progression of work. β€’ Utilizing expertise in District and/or Regional scheduling procedures and notification disposition in accordance with E1 policy and GO95 standards. β€’ Decipher notification problem statements to determine resource needs β€’ Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders in the compliance remediations space; communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide updates on progress, and address any concerns they may have β€’ Identify risk, anticipate challenges and address and resolve issues that arise, and be proactive in identifying problems and finding solutions to keep notifications moving forward β€’ Ensure data integrity and information is representative and accurate, including data cleanup efforts Required Skills/Attributes A strong focus on identifying improvement opportunities across the IPSEC lifecycle is essential to drive operational excellence and compliance performance. β€’ Experience with the utility industry in Transmission and Distribution Operations or program management β€’ Over five years of experience in Data Analytics, with a strong background in managing, validating large or complex datasets, and working with various reporting platforms. β€’ Experience with District and/or regional scheduling processes and notification dispositioning in alignment with E1 policy and GO95 requirements β€’ Demonstrated experience with PowerBI, SAP, DM, DCPT, DCRT, ClickSchedule, WorkIt, FMP360 β€’ Experience preparing weekly and monthly status reports to monitor compliance performance. β€’ Demonstrate fundamental lifecycle (IPSEC) knowledge in all compliance notifications. Including but not limited to: o Understanding the differences between P1/P2/P3 and required end dates for each (e.g., HFEX, HFIA, non-HFRA) β€’ Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (SAP, Oracle, etc.), or with analytical tools such as SAS or SAS Visual Analytics (VA), BI Dashboard Desired Skills/Attributes β€’ Bachelor’s degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination in education, training, and experience β€’ Effective team building and resource and project planning skills. β€’ Understanding of E1 policy and GO95 Rule 18 β€’ Knowledge of Transmission & Distribution (e.g., Apparatus, Civil, Electrical crew, Streetlight) systems: electrical system (primary, secondary, public, etc.); overhead and underground structure and equipment types
