Role description
Associate Project Management Coordinator Location: Remote - Thousand Oaks, CA (PST preferred) Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2) Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension) Compensation: $25/$28 per hour (based on experience) Summary of the Role Join a large biotech pharmaceutical leader as a Project Management Coordinator supporting digital operations, process improvement, and knowledge management initiatives within Process Development. This role focuses on enhancing productivity through SharePoint administration, dashboard development, workflow automation, and digital collaboration tools. The ideal candidate combines strong project coordination skills with expertise in digital platforms, business process improvement, and data visualization. Key Responsibilities • Support standardization and continuous improvement of productivity processes across Process Development functions • Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs, process gaps, and improvement opportunities • Design, update, and maintain SharePoint sites, learning hubs, communication spaces, and digital repositories • Develop and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and Smartsheet • Build and maintain Smartsheet forms, dashboards, automated workflows, and intake processes • Identify and implement automation opportunities and AI-enabled solutions • Manage workflow requests and prioritize initiatives across multiple stakeholders • Maintain knowledge management repositories, galleries, templates, and documentation • Provide regular project updates and communicate priorities, risks, and blockers • Support continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation efforts Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Operations, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field • Experience evaluating business processes and implementing process improvements • Hands-on SharePoint administration and digital workplace management experience • Experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Smartsheet, or similar tools • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently • Experience creating process documentation and workflow solutions Preferred: • Experience with Power Automate, Microsoft 365, workflow automation, or system integration • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies • Familiarity with AI tools and digital enablement initiatives • Experience managing repository structures and permissions Top 3 Must Have Skills 1.
