The role involves tracking, monitoring, and analyzing project performance, while providing insights for financial management and strategic decision-making. Responsibilities: β€’ Gather and analyze data from various project management systems and tools to track project performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), budgets, and timelines. Collect, validate, and analyze project data related to schedules, budgets, risks, and resources β€’ Develop and distribute regular project reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to communicate project performance to stakeholders. Identify trends, patterns, and issues through data analysis and recommend corrective actions β€’ Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of project data across the PMO β€’ Identify opportunities to improve processes based on data analysis and best practices β€’ Collaborate with project teams to improve data collection processes and reporting methods. Assist project managers and teams with data-related tasks, such as creating reports, analyzing data, and troubleshooting issues β€’ Support the implementation of new reports, tools, and processes. Assist in the development and maintenance of project documentation and data standards β€’ Identify and analyze potential risks based on project data and assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies β€’ Effectively communicate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization β€’ Responsible for budget management for the scope they are accountable for. Manage internal labor in collaboration with Project Managers against the budget. Solid understanding of accounting rules for expense and capital activities Qualifications: Required: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field β€’ 5+ years of financial management experience. Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close activities β€’ 5+ years of advanced knowledge/experience with MS Excel. Advanced Excel skills, including power-pivots, VLOOKUP, and nesting formulas. β€’ 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a PMO or project environment β€’ 5+ years of demonstrated experience with data visualization and reporting tools β€’ 5+ years of experience communicating with various levels within an organization β€’ 3+ years of experience creating presentations in PowerPoint and presenting to executive stakeholders β€’ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) β€’ Experience in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI Preferred: β€’ Proven experience implementing or improving processes using Excel/data β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills β€’ Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies β€’ Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, or Trello β€’ Financial analytical skills, including spend curves, burn-rate, and rate-volume analysis.
