Job Title: Project SchedulerJob Description
We are seeking a dynamic onsite program scheduling and planning integrator. The successful candidate will work closely with program teams, providing exceptional communication skills and leveraging their experience as a schedule and planning subject matter expert. They will be adept at troubleshooting complex schedule issues and possess working experience with the administration and integration of multiple large and complex schedules into an Integrated Master Schedule within an MS Project 365 server environment.
Responsibilities
• Utilize MS Project 365, including administration of the project server and MS Planner, to manage user access control for each schedule project, schedule, and schedule data management functions.
• Create, maintain, update, and troubleshoot MS Project schedules within the MS Project server environment.
• Manage complex schedule management and integration processes for major programs.
• Maintain and execute processes that support the execution and planning of technical program requirements using MS Project software and SSI Tools.
• Develop schedule visualization products from multiple complex MS Project schedules using software such as Onepager.
• Oversee the execution of schedule updates and integration processes as routine business execution processes.
• Implement schedule development and management standards and processes across multiple programs and project offices.
• Report schedule management metrics as outputs from the schedule integration process.
• Create and implement schedule template files for broad programs and projects, enabling consistent tracking of similar events across multiple disconnected schedules, and evaluate integrated schedules using various schedule data filters.
Essential Skills
• Minimum education requirement: High School diploma.
• At least 6 years of related/relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in MS Project 365, including supporting server environments and MS Planner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience overseeing large program schedules and implementing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules.
• Proficiency in using Onepager, a schedule visualization tool.
• Experience with SSI Tools for MS Project, a schedule integration tool.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel for implementation pivot tables, cell equations, and functions.
• Experience with MS SharePoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience using MS Power BI.
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA and workflows.
• Knowledge of Kidasa Milestones.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6.
Work Environment
The position requires onsite work with program teams. You will be involved in a significant effort related to Submarine Weapon Systems (SWS) and the Strategic Systems Program (SSP). This program has been active for over 60 years and is set for substantial growth, including doubling the staff to over 600 engineers. The SSP Program is funded until 2084, providing a stable work environment. Technologies and tools such as MS Project 365, SSI Tools, Onepager, MS SharePoint, and MS Office suite are routinely used in this environment.
