Position: Project Specialist II – Neuromodulation, Interventional Spine Team
Location: Hybrid – (3 days onsite per week, firm requirement)
Division: Neuromodulation – Interventional Spine
About the Role
The Interventional Spine Team within the Neuromodulation Division is advancing therapies for chronic pain, including the Intracept® Procedure—a minimally invasive, implant-free treatment for vertebrogenic low back pain.
We are seeking a highly analytical and research-driven Project Specialist II to support this mission. This dual-role position blends market research and project coordination, with a strong emphasis on data analysis, vendor management, and presentation development. Ideal candidates will have a PhD or MSBA and prior experience in market research and project management—particularly those from social science disciplines such as political science, economics, psychology, or sociology.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Insights
• Lead mixed-method research initiatives including quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews
• Design and manage survey instruments and research protocols
• Coordinate vendor activities, timelines, and deliverables
• Synthesize findings into actionable insights and executive-level presentations
Analytics & Reporting
• Analyze large datasets using tools such as Pandas, Python, R, and Excel
• Maintain and refresh dashboards and reports using Salesforce and Tableau
• Apply data science techniques to support strategic decision-making
Presentation Development
• Translate analytical outputs into high-quality PowerPoint presentations
• Ensure consistency, clarity, and polish across all deliverables
Vendor & Compliance Coordination
• Manage purchasing and vendor workflows in alignment with compliance standards
• Support documentation and approval processes to ensure operational efficiency
Project & Operational Support
• Provide analytical and coordination support to the commercial team
• Manage ad hoc requests and evolving business needs
Quality Systems Responsibilities
• Integrate quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with applicable quality system requirements and company standards
Qualifications
Most Desired
• PhD or MSBA with experience in market research and project management
• Background in social sciences (e.g., political science, economics, psychology, sociology)
Required
• Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0–1 year of experience
• Experience in mixed-method market research (quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, survey design)
• Proficiency in analytic toolkits (Excel, Pandas, Python, R)
• Strong business intelligence and data storytelling skills
• Advanced PowerPoint skills for executive-level presentations

• Familiarity with compliance and vendor coordination processes
