Data Scientist – Prompt Engineering & RAG Specialist Location: Greenwood Village, CO Long-term rolling W2 contract with benefits Pay: $60-$70/hour We’re looking for a Data Scientist with a passion for prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to help us push the boundaries of what LLMs can do. This role is perfect for someone who’s been “swimming in prompts” and understands how to make LLMs perform with precision and context. What You’ll Do: • Design, iterate, and optimize prompts for LLMs to achieve targeted outcomes. • Implement and manage RAG pipelines to enhance contextual relevance. • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy prompt-based solutions. • Evaluate prompt effectiveness and refine strategies based on performance metrics. What You’ll Bring: • 3–5 years of experience in data science or NLP, with at least 1 year focused on prompt engineering. • Deep understanding of LLM behavior, prompt design, and system prompts. • Familiarity with vector databases and RAG frameworks. • Experience with Python and LLM libraries (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI API). • Strong analytical and communication skills.
