Job Title:- Prompt Engineer Location:- Midtown Manhattan (Hybrid/3 days a week onsite) Duration:- Contract to hire Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Generative AI Analyst to drive results across two pivotal workstreams. The first workstream is focused on deploying Generative AI tools and products (e.g. ChatGPT). Key to the deployment workstream is enabling a cultural shift in how employees perform their work, integrating Generative AI tools into our employee s daily processes. The second workstream supports our business and technology teams in developing custom internal Generative AI applications, tailored to our business objectives. Key to this development workstream is understanding our user's needs and requirements from which they collaboratively craft prompts to pass to our technology team to build custom Generative AI solutions. Tasks in the second workstream include collaborative Prompt Engineering with the business and partnering with our technology teams to implement user prompts in Generative AI applications. Workstream #1 initiatives: Rollout of Generative AI Applications • Support the rollout of Generative AI tools and products that make our employees more efficient and effective in their daily work. The tools and products in this workstream are purchased Generative AI applications, for example ChatGPT. In supporting the rollout, the Analyst provides training, engagement, and enabling support to onboard new users. Where the measurement of success is user adoption and value achieved. • Enable users who have recently onboarded, receiving access to Generative AI tools. The Analyst supports users by actively working with them to understand their experiences and results, learning what is working well, helping them overcome challenges on the path of fully leveraging the capabilities of Generative AI. Perform activities to drive organizational change, to help ensure successful adoption. This includes examples such as hosting office hours, creating job-enabling content, FAQs, Newsletters, etc. • Explore new Generative AI product opportunities, performing initial assessments of need and fit, up to and including proof of concepts. Workstream #2 initiatives: Development of Generative AI Applications • Collaborate with technology teams and business units to develop new generative AI applications, beginning with initial ideation and research sessions. • Conduct proof of concepts using tools like ChatGPT to pressure test business ideas and fit for future Generative AI application build. • Elicit requirements and work collaboratively with teams to build prompts that achieve business objectives. Develop, refine, and optimize prompts with the business, applying best practices to achieve best results. • Lead testing of prompts with the business, validating the generated content meets Client's Responsible AI principles and guidelines. • Work with LLM and Software Engineers to migrate prompts into industrialized software applications • Stay up to date on the latest advancements in Generative AI and prompting, incorporating the learnings into the broader Client Generative AI playbook. Qualifications Education • Bachelor s degree; Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Experience • Strong experience with Generative AI products and API/models; ChatGPT a plus. • 5 years' professional experience in data science, software development, or a similar technical discipline; with a minimum of 1+ years of experience in Generative AI Skills • Strong expertise in Prompt Engineering; crafting and optimizing Generative AI prompts to enhance performance and user outcomes. • Deep knowledge of Generative AI technologies and their practical applications in business settings. • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous efforts and deliverables. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications • Proficiency in business user engagement, training, and content creation. • Experience coding in python, using jupyter notebooks. • Experience rolling out software products to end users. • Familiarity with change management practices.
