PS-Technical Lead

Job Title: Senior UI Developer Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Expected hours per week:40 hours per week Schedule: Monday – Friday, Remote Pay Range: $66-$70 per hour Job Summary The Application Developer / UiPath AI Engineer – Tech Lead works closely with clients, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements and design quality technical solutions. These solutions must align with business and IT strategies and comply with organizational architectural standards. This role spans the full systems life cycle, including designing, coding, testing, implementing, and supporting application software delivered on time and within budget. Beyond Development, Responsibilities May Include • Component and data architecture design • Technology planning and product evaluation • Advanced testing processes • Buy vs. build recommendations • Input to project plans related to Application Development initiatives Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and implement application software solutions • Collaborate with business teams to assess processes and define requirements • Participate in architecture design and technology planning • Lead design and development of UiPath automation solutions, including AI Center and Document Understanding • Build and deploy AI/ML models to enhance automation accuracy and efficiency • Integrate workflows with APIs, databases, cloud services, and enterprise systems • Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to RPA developers • Oversee deployment, monitoring, and optimization through UiPath Orchestrator • Troubleshoot issues, maintain existing automations, and ensure best practices and governance Work Complexity • Works on major projects as a project team member or project lead • Handles projects spanning multiple applications • Supports multiple applications • Possesses expertise in multiple technical environments and business knowledge across one or more areas Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred • Minimum 7 years of application programming and analysis experience • Broad understanding of information systems and application architecture standards • Experience leading projects • Ability to analyze and interpret complex problems spanning multiple business areas • Experience designing, developing, and testing applications using proven or emerging technologies Technical Skills & Requirements • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills • Expertise with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, AI Center, Document Understanding, and Action Center • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn) • Experience with OCR technologies (ABBYY, Google Vision, Azure Form Recognizer) • Knowledge of API integration, REST/SOAP services, SQL/NoSQL databases • Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker) • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps for automation AI & ML Expertise • Design and build custom ML models to solve business-specific problems • Fine-tune and optimize models for accuracy, performance, and scalability • Manage model lifecycle: training, retraining, versioning, monitoring, and drift detection • Utilize GenAI, NLP, and LLM-based solutions (e.g., ChatGPT-like assistants, classification, summarization)
