We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable backend services and enterprise data integration solutions.
This role focuses on Python backend development, API engineering, Databricks integration, and cloud-based data processing environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Backend Development
• Design and develop scalable backend services using Python
• Build secure and maintainable REST APIs
• Support modernization and migration initiatives from Java-based environments
• Optimize backend architecture and application performance
Data Engineering & Integration
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and integration layers
• Support Databricks-based processing environments
• Design efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
Security & Architecture
• Implement authentication and authorization patterns using OAuth2 and OIDC
• Apply secure engineering principles across backend services
• Support governance and scalable architecture decisions
Platform & Integration Enablement
• Build APIs and backend services supporting enterprise platforms
• Support scalable integration patterns across backend environments
Delivery & Automation
• Maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions
• Collaborate across engineering and architecture teams
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 3–5 years of experience in Backend Engineering
• Strong hands-on Python development experience
• Experience developing REST APIs and backend services
• Experience building data integration solutions
• Experience with Databricks or cloud data processing platforms
• Understanding of Java and Spring-based architectures
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience supporting migration from Java to Python environments
• Experience with AI-enabled applications or integration architectures
• Exposure to OAuth2 and OIDC security patterns
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with modern software delivery environments
