Baer is looking for a Python Developer for a 6+ month project located in Jersey City, NJ. Title: Python Developer Location: Hybrid - Jersey City, NJ (4 days/week) Duration: 6 months Rate: All-Inclusive Alignment: W2 Description: • Design, develop, test, and optimize scalable Python applications. • Work with Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration of microservices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements. • Write complex SQL queries and manage data operations. • Maintain and improve application performance and reliability. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues; provide ongoing technical support. • Communicate effectively with client stakeholders, including director-level personnel. Requirements: • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Kubernetes, and SQL. • Proven ability to work as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Financial Services and Payments industry experience (SWIFT MT/MX) is highly desirable. • Must be local to or willing to commute to Jersey City, NJ.
