Position: Exceptional SWE Annotator
Referral partner: Crossing Hurdles
Type: Hourly Contract
Compensation: $85/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: Approximately 2 weeks
Commitment: 10β40 hours/week, fully remote and asynchronous
Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)
β’ Evaluate and annotate code snippets, scripts, and software engineering tasks for accuracy, quality, and clarity
β’ Identify logical errors, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities in code samples
β’ Provide structured, precise feedback on programming logic, implementation, and best practices
β’ Work independently to meet daily annotation and review targets
β’ Apply labelling guidelines consistently and maintain high precision in all deliverables
Ideal Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
β’ Proficiency in two or more major programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Go, Java)
β’ Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, debugging, and code analysis
β’ Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills
β’ Prior experience with structured software evaluations, benchmarks, or code review is a plus
β’ Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported)
