Job Title: Python Developer Location: Columbus, OH Job Type: W2 Contract Experience Level: 7+ Years Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with hands-on experience in cloud services (AWS) and a working knowledge of Java. This role will focus primarily on Python-based backend development, complemented by AWS infrastructure work and occasional Java development tasks. Ideal candidates will have a strong programming foundation, cloud deployment experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Python Development (60%) • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and services. • Work with frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django to build RESTful APIs. • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. • Integrate databases and data sources • Conduct code reviews and participate in agile sprints. AWS Cloud (20%) • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS. • Work with services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc. • Implement best practices in security, scalability, and cost optimization on the cloud. • Collaborate with DevOps or infrastructure teams for CI/CD pipelines and automation. Java Development (20%) • Contribute to legacy or integrated systems written in Java. • Develop and maintain Java-based microservices or utilities as needed. • Ensure interoperability between Python and Java components.
