OVERVIEW:
• We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team on a short-term contract basis. This is an on-site role based in Santa Clara, CA, with a project duration of approximately 3 to 6 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development and a proven track record of creating tools for synthetic data generation, particularly in support of QA and product demonstration teams
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• At least 5+ years’ experience as a Python Developer
• Experienced developing easy to use tool(s) to generate synthetic data for our QA and product demo teams:
1. Tool should create initial data sets and provide an easy way to show data on open-source maps to validate that it meets requirements
1. Tool should also allow an easy way to edit/correct parts of the data set without requiring them to generate the entire data set again
• Experienced generating scripts for loading synthetic data into our analytics platform and monitor relevant KPI’s to ensure correct and complete ingestion
• Familiarity with manipulating geo-graphic coordinates (e.g. shifting geodata from one region to another)
• Familiar with Scientific programing using python (e.g. NumPy)
• Authorized to work in the USA for any employer
