Location: Onsite - Austin, TX Rate: $50 - $68/hr w2 About the Role: We are seeking a versatile Python Developer to join our innovative humanoid robotics team. This role involves developing automation frameworks, backend systems, and firmware components that power intelligent robotic platforms. You’ll work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration and performance. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain Python-based applications and services for robotic control systems. • Build and manage infrastructure automation using Ansible and Ansible Playbooks. • Design and deploy containerized environments for scalable and modular development. • Manage artifact repositories and CI/CD pipelines using Artifactory. • Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate Python services with embedded systems. • Maintain and support codebases in Python 2.7 and 3.x. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across software and firmware layers. Required Skills & Tools: • Strong proficiency in Python 2.7 and 3.x. • Experience with Ansible and writing Ansible Playbooks. • Familiarity with Artifactory for artifact management. • Hands-on experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman). • Solid understanding of firmware development, including working with embedded systems and microcontrollers. • Experience with Linux-based systems and shell scripting. • Ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in robotics, embedded systems, or real-time control systems. • Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System). • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
