The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications and APIs that support our IT infrastructure and web platforms. The Python Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions, leveraging a diverse set of technologies including AWS, Azure, RESTful APIs, and various programming languages. Duties Develop and maintain high-quality Python applications and RESTful APIs to support web and enterprise solutions. Collaborate with front-end developers using React, JavaScript, and Express to create seamless user experiences. Integrate applications with cloud services such as AWS and Azure for scalable deployment. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices in software development. Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews. Manage version control using GitHub, SVN, and Git repositories to ensure code integrity. Design and optimize database schemas using MySQL, SQL Server, or other relational databases; implement data access layers using SQL. Work on application deployment and infrastructure automation within Linux environments. Contribute to the development of front-end components with JavaScript frameworks like React for full-stack solutions. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to application performance or security. Engage in continuous learning of emerging technologies such as quantum engineering concepts or C++, C#, .NET frameworks to enhance project capabilities. Requirements Proven experience in software development with strong proficiency in Python programming. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Experience working with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API integrations. Knowledge of front-end development tools including JavaScript, React, Express.js, and related frameworks. Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and Git. Working knowledge of databases like MySQL or SQL Server; ability to write optimized SQL queries. Experience with application deployment on Linux operating systems. Understanding of Agile methodologies for collaborative project management. Additional skills such as Ruby on Rails, C++, C#, VBA, .NET frameworks, RBAC security models are a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
