For further information about CYGNUS, please visit our website www.cygnuspro.com W2 Contract Job Title: Python Developer Location: Piscataway, NJ ( Hybrid ) Longterm Contract W2 Contract Responsibilities: • Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services and applications using Python. • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. • Integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ensure data optimization. • Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps. • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with proper documentation. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the software development lifecycle. • Contribute to architecture discussions and propose improvements. Required Skills: only W2 Contract • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Python development. • Strong knowledge of Flask / Django / FastAPI frameworks. • Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.). • Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
