Python Developer - NJ

Our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, is seeking a Python Developer to join their team. As a Python Developer, you will be part of the software development team supporting critical applications for the Independent Price Verification process. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for learning new technologies, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Python Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ Pay Range: $65 - $68 /hr on W2 What's the Job? • Develop and enhance object-oriented software in Python and work with object-oriented databases. • Create data transfer tools to replicate data from no-sql datastore to an Oracle (Exadata) database. • Build REST web services and design interfaces between UI and REST services. • Develop data-grid centric UI based on Angular framework. • Participate fully in the Agile software development process throughout the entire software lifecycle. What's Needed? • Minimum 6-10 years of overall technology experience. • 6-10 years of designing and developing in an object-oriented environment with any OO language (e.g., Java, C++, C#). • 3-5 years of experience in Python. • Experience designing and tuning SQL database tables/queries. • Familiarity with git, npm, and Angular (15.x or later) is a plus.
