Role description
Job Title: Python Developer Location: Delaware, USA (Hybrid/Onsite depending on client requirement) Employment Type: Contract / Full-time Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Python Developer with strong experience in building scalable applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Python frameworks, backend integration using Java/Spring Boot, and a solid understanding of AWS cloud services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust backend solutions that support modern applications in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django). β€’ Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications. β€’ Collaborate with teams on backend integration using Java and Spring Boot. β€’ Deploy and manage services on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.). β€’ Optimize database design and queries for PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL systems. β€’ Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. β€’ Work with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments. β€’ Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to improve performance and reliability. Must-Have Skills: β€’ Strong expertise in Python and frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django. β€’ Proven experience in RESTful API and microservice architecture. β€’ Working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot for backend integration. β€’ Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.). β€’ Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL). β€’ Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes. β€’ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. β€’ Experience working in Agile environments. β€’ Familiarity with modern development practices like TDD, code reviews, and version control.
