Job Title: Python + PL/SQL Developer Location: St. Louis, MO Rate - $50 - $60/hr Job Description: Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python to ingest, transform, and load data into Oracle databases. • Design and implement data warehouse architecture to support scalable analytics and reporting. • Build and maintain Oracle APEX applications for internal data access and workflow automation. • Deploy and manage data solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as RDS, Lambda, S3, Glue, and Redshift. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems. • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot data-related issues. • Document technical processes and provide support for data-related queries. Required Qualifications • Over 6 years of experience in Python scripting for ETL and data processing, utilizing libraries such as paramiko, pyyaml, oracledb, openpyxl, pandas, webexteamssdk, and boto3. • Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database design. • Extensive experience in building and maintaining data warehouses and dimensional models. • Proficient in Oracle APEX development. • Solid understanding of AWS services relevant to data engineering. • Familiar with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. • Knowledgeable in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Key Skills: • Requires strong knowledge of Python with AWS and an understanding of PL/SQL. • The primary tasks will involve writing scripts to pull files from S3 buckets and scheduling jobs connecting to the AWS platform.
