Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python to ingest, transform, and load data into Oracle databases.
β’ Design and implement data warehouse architecture to support scalable analytics and reporting.
β’ Build and maintain Oracle APEX applications for internal data access and workflow automation.
β’ Deploy and manage data solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as RDS, Lambda, S3, Glue, and Redshift.
β’ Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
β’ Optimize database performance and troubleshoot data-related issues.
β’ Document technical processes and provide support for data-related queries.
Required Qualifications
β’ Over 6 years of experience in Python scripting for ETL and data processing, utilizing libraries such as paramiko, pyyaml, oracledb, openpyxl, pandas, webexteamssdk, and boto3.
β’ Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database design.
β’ Extensive experience in building and maintaining data warehouses and dimensional models.
β’ Proficient in Oracle APEX development.
β’ Solid understanding of AWS services relevant to data engineering.
β’ Familiar with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
β’ Knowledgeable in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Key Skills:
β’ Requires strong knowledge of Python with AWS and an understanding of PL/SQL.
β’ The primary tasks will involve writing scripts to pull files from S3 buckets and scheduling jobs connecting to the AWS platform.
