About The Role
We are looking for a Python Developer with strong AWS expertise to join OUR CLIENT team. This role focuses on building enterprise-scale APIs and frameworks to enhance developer productivity.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Python APIs to automate GitLab processes, replacing legacy Java APIs
• Build scalable services using AWS (Lambda, ECS, EC2)
• Extract and analyze pipeline metrics to drive performance improvements
• Develop a new Python enterprise framework similar to the existing Java-based chassis framework
• Work with Flask and FastAPI for backend development
• Provide minimal support on Angular UI (role is backend-heavy)
• Deliver reusable services and tools to support cross-functional teams
Must Haves
• Strong experience in Python API development
• Expertise in AWS services (Lambda, ECS, EC2)
• Proficiency with Flask or FastAPI
• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
• Strong backend and infrastructure-focused experience
