Investment Bank is looking to hire a tech lead Python Developer who is able to balance hands-on coding with team leadership responsibilities. You will be responsible for driving the design and development of scalable Python-based applications while ensuring high team performance and alignment with business goals. Required Experience; • Proven experience (7+ years) in Python development, with a strong understanding of frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. • Prior experience in a technical leadership or team lead role. • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms. • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities; • Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust Python applications and services. • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project timelines. • Guide and mentor a team of software engineers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices. • Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through continuous integration and testing. • Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks and production issues. • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose their adoption where beneficial. Desirable Experience; • Experience with microservices architecture. • Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus. • Background in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
