Python Test Engineer – Firmware Integration & Automation We’re looking for a Python Test Engineer to design, build, and execute robust integration-level tests in a hardware-focused environment—no virtual labs here. What You’ll Do: • Write integration-level tests using Pytest, focusing on performance, stability, and feature validation of firmware systems. • Design and build reusable, maintainable Python-based test frameworks—not just simple scripts. • Work directly with networking hardware in a physical lab to investigate failures, troubleshoot issues, and validate fixes. • Adapt test cases to custom Python CLIs and firmware behaviors in non-standard environments. • Leverage tools like CDRouter to test DOCSIS devices and other broadband hardware. • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure test coverage and alignment with product goals.
