Job Title: Python Developer Location: New jersey, NJ Type: Long Term Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with strong experience in Django and Flex to join our development team. This role will be instrumental in designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a passion for backend and UI integration. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python, Django, and Adobe Flex. • Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams for seamless integration. • Write clean, reusable, and testable code. • Develop RESTful APIs and backend services. • Optimize applications for speed and scalability. • Troubleshoot and debug production issues. • Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies. Required Skills: • 8+ years of professional experience in Python development. • Strong expertise in Django web framework. • Solid hands-on experience with Adobe Flex (ActionScript, MXML). • Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs. • Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar). • Familiarity with version control tools (Git preferred). • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Nice to Have: • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines. • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker. Work Arrangement: Hybrid – must be able to work onsite in New Jersey 2–3 days per week.
