About the Opportunity
Optomi, in partnership with a leading global consulting firm, is seeking a Python Engineer. This role will focus on developing and enhancing cross-platform automation tools and workflows using Python and .NET C#, integrating with CI/CD systems to streamline performance testing and validation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong Python expertise and automation experience across Windows and macOS environments.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
β’ Design and develop Python scripts for automation and performance testing across Windows and macOS.
β’ Build and maintain desktop automation workflows using tools such as PyAutoGUI, PyWinAuto, and ATmacOS.
β’ Develop and support .NET C# console applications to improve performance and scalability.
β’ Integrate automation workflows with CI/CD pipelines and testing tools including Jenkins, GitHub API, and Xray API.
β’ Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, and software development teams to ensure seamless automation and performance validation.
β’ Refactor existing automation frameworks to improve maintainability and efficiency.
β’ Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts across automation systems.
Experience of the Right Candidate:
β’ Strong proficiency in Python, including pip packaging and dependency management.
β’ Hands-on experience with cross-platform and desktop automation tools.
β’ Working knowledge of .NET C#, particularly for console-based applications (UI experience a plus).
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and APIs (Jenkins, GitHub, Xray).
β’ Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
β’ United States Citizen or Green Card Holder Only!
β’ Experience with front-end technologies such as React and JavaScript is preferred.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
