• The Role:Join a high-impact data engineering group within a large-scale enterprise environment modernizing critical cloud data platforms.
Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid - 3 days/week)
What You’ll Do:
Design and build scalable ETL pipelines across cloud and on-prem environments
Develop and maintain data workflows using SAS, Python, and SQL
Architect and optimize data solutions within AWS
Integrate APIs and manage structured/unstructured data formats
Lead code reviews and uphold architecture best practices
Tune performance for large datasets and complex queries
Collaborate in Agile ceremonies to deliver high-quality increments
Core Tech & Skills:
SAS and Python development
Strong SQL and PL/SQL expertise
AWS (S3, Redshift, RDS, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions, ECS)
Unix shell scripting
Data warehousing and ETL design
API development and integration
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
Docker and cloud-native architectures
