Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist / AI-ML Engineer to work on advanced AI, machine learning, and large language model (LLM) initiatives. This is a contract-to-hire role, and candidates must be open to transitioning to full-time employment.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, distributed data systems, vector databases, and LLM-related projects. This role requires both technical depth and client-facing consulting experience.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions leveraging data science best practices
β’ Build and enhance Large Language Models (LLMs) and support LLM data ingestion pipelines
β’ Work with structured and unstructured datasets of varying complexity
β’ Process and pipeline large-scale data streams in distributed computing environments
β’ Implement batch and real-time model scoring solutions
β’ Design and assemble large, complex datasets aligned with business requirements
β’ Perform statistical analysis and ad hoc data investigations
β’ Translate business problems into scalable data science solutions
β’ Conduct market research and develop strategic points of view for clients
β’ Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders
β’ Participate in resolving data flow and data quality issues
β’ Support ML Ops initiatives and model lifecycle management
Required Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of experience using Python for data analysis
β’ 3+ years of experience in a consulting environment supporting data science projects
β’ Hands-on experience with Vector Databases
β’ 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
β’ Building or enhancing LLMs
β’ LLM data ingestion pipelines
β’ AI/ML model development
β’ Statistics
β’ ML Ops

β’ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
β’ Structured approach to issue identification and resolution
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
β’ Team-oriented mindset with strong work ethic and reliability
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in a relevant field preferred
