Role description
Astrally Technologies is seeking an experienced Python/AWS Developer to join our financial services client, Capital One, on a compliance project. The focus will be migrating data from co-located servers to the cloud.
This is not a pipeline engineering role — we are looking for a hands-on developer with strong Python programming experience.
Workplace type: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Location: New York City, NY or Plano, TX (must be local to either market)
Required Skills & Experience:
• 6+ years in Python programming (Go experience also considered)
• Strong experience developing, testing, and debugging Python scripts
• Python API development, testing, and debugging
• AWS experience including Lambda and DynamoDB
• QuickSight (strongly preferred)
• Google APIs – able to read and develop if needed
• System design – able to discuss designs, identify issues, and ask for clarification when needed
Compensation: W2 rate $85/hr
Eligibility:
• U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, H4 EAD, L2 Visa, or TN Visa only
• No OPT or CPT candidates
