Job Title: QA – Mid Level Experience: 3–6 Years Location: Onsite Employment Type: Contract W2 (USC, GC, EAD-H4, EAD-GC, EAD-L2) Job Summary We are looking for a Mid-Level SDET who is passionate about quality engineering and test automation. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, collaborate closely with developers, and ensure high-quality software delivery across web, API, and backend systems. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, API, and backend applications • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC/STLC • Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing • Build and execute API automation using tools like REST Assured / Postman • Identify, log, track, and validate defects using Jira or similar tools • Ensure test coverage for new features, bug fixes, and enhancements • Participate in code reviews and contribute to testability improvements • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Perform basic database testing using SQL queries • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices Required Skills • Strong experience in Test Automation (3+ years) • Proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript • Hands-on experience with automation tools: • Selenium / Playwright / Cypress • API testing experience with: • REST Assured / Postman / Swagger • Solid understanding of Manual Testing concepts • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) • Good understanding of OOP concepts and data structures Good to Have • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow) • Exposure to performance testing (JMeter, Gatling) • Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP) • Docker & basic Kubernetes knowledge • Mobile automation (Appium).
