Role description
Join our team as a QA Test Automation Engineer and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software development processes. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, with a preference for candidates located in one of the 12 Federal Reserve Bank locations. Responsibilities • Develop and implement quality measures, standards, and tools for new and existing applications throughout their lifecycle. • Act as a quality coach, collaborating with agile teams to ensure user satisfaction in design specifications. • Lead testing efforts related to cloud testing strategy, ensuring software meets business and performance requirements. • Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test data for complex problems and user requirements. • Collaborate with development and business teams to plan all phases of application testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. Skills • Expert knowledge of software development life cycle, quality engineering, and agile testing methodologies. • Proven data analysis, verification, and problem-solving abilities. • Experience in programming with Python, Java, or other languages, and using Selenium, Ansible, Cucumber, and Playwright. • Strong communication skills and ability to produce clear documentation. Preferred Skills • SAFE or Agile certification, Cloud or DevOps certification. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
