Qlik Developer

We are looking for talented Qlik Sense Developer to join our team to perform data visualization tasks using Qlik Sense. Multidisciplinary work supporting data pipelines extracts from data warehouses and developing dashboards and reports using streams and SQL. This is a remote contract role with one of our clients. Fun Things You Will Do: · Be an active member of an EDW team focused on building best in class data solutions on a large data warehouse and analytics projects · Effectively communicate objectives, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and management. · Work with business users, analysts, developers and management to scope projects, and ensure designs are implemented and tested to specifications. · Create solutions utilizing industry-standard dimensional models and data architecture to support business users that include data scientists, analysts and non-technical functional users · Communicates clearly in a timely manner in both verbal and written communication with other software & database development Engineers. · Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, and other team members to determine data extraction and transformation requirements. Technical Skills: · 5+ years recent Qlik development and administration experience required · Strong data visualization skills using Qlik · Experience in data extraction from cloud-based databases and other source types · Advanced SQL and data profiling skills · Experience with incremental data loading · Building efficient/effective Data models in Qlik Sense with various source data · Experience in mashup application development integrated with Qlik Sense · Ability to implement data security for users · Implement dashboards with rules for users · Good communication skills in verbal and written · Experience in production support of single or multi-node Qlik Sense environment. · Preferred Experience in big data implementation in data warehouse and/or Qlik product · Knowledge with web server integration in cloud platform (AWS) and Qlik Sense · Working experience in automated deployment of Qlik Sense configuration and application · Experience in implementing disaster recovery of Qlik Sense environment · Experience in Qlik Sense server administration and configuration · Hands-on experience in security rule customization · Experience in building APIs to leverage Qlik Sense for deployment automation, user updates and scheduling · Preferred Experience in data warehouse implementation or being familiar with data warehouse concepts · Experience with Jira and source control environments like Git, GitHub etc. · Minimum 7 years of experience in developing software applications including analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications.
