Role description
Role: Qlikview Developer
Location: Hartfort, CT- Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop QlikView dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that deliver actionable insights to business users.
• Create and optimize data models, ETL scripts, and QVD/QVW files for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, SAP, Excel, and flat files into QlikView applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into QlikView solutions.
• Apply best practices in data modeling, performance tuning, and dashboard design to ensure scalability and usability.
• Implement security rules, section access, and user role management in QlikView.
• Automate data reloads and scheduling tasks using QlikView Publisher/Server.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate QlikView with enterprise BI and reporting ecosystems.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for existing QlikView applications.
• Document designs, data flows, and user guides for business users and technical teams.
