Title:R&D Quality Analytics Specialist Location: Greater Boston Area, MA / Remote (Hybrid Preferred) Employment Type:Contract Duration:5 Months+ Status:Accepting Candidates About the Role We are seeking an R&D Quality Analytics Specialist to support quality analytics initiatives within a regulated life sciences environment. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining analytics solutions that improve visibility into R&D Quality processes, inspection readiness, compliance metrics, and study/program quality trends. The ideal candidate will be strong in Power BI, data analytics, SQL, and Snowflake, with the ability to turn complex datasets into intuitive dashboards and actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models supporting R&D Quality programs • Partner with quality leaders, QA teams, and cross-functional SMEs to define business requirements and KPIs • Analyze and interpret trends and patterns in complex quality and R&D-related datasets • Validate data accuracy and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with governance and quality standards • Support data acquisition, ingestion, and transformation for scalable reporting solutions • Prepare and visualize inspection-related data for regulatory agencies such as FDA and EMA • Maintain dashboard inventories, controlled documentation, and version tracking for BI assets • Support analytics implementation activities including communication, change management, user documentation, and data literacy • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to strengthen data-driven decision making in R&D Quality Required Qualifications • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, Desktop, and Service • Strong SQL skills and experience working with Snowflake • Solid experience in data analytics and business intelligence solution development • Ability to gather requirements and translate technical/business needs into meaningful dashboards and insights • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with clinical, R&D, or quality-related datasets • Experience supporting quality processes such as deviations, audit management, or inspection readiness • Background in regulated biotech, pharma, GxP, or R&D Quality environments strongly preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field • 3–5 years of relevant experience in BI, analytics, or related work Compensation (MA Pay Transparency) • Estimated pay range: $65–$67/hr on W-2 • Final rate within the posted range will depend on qualifications, experience, and interview outcomes.
