Genesis10 is currently seeking an ETL Database Automation Test Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on software testing and quality engineering, with a strong emphasis on data validation through complex SQL queries and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation using tools like Selenium or Playwright within an Agile environment. Requirements: • 8-10 years in software testing and quality engineering • Strong hands-on experience (Design, model, develop) with complex SQL queries - Oracle SQL server (Minimum 5 years) • Strong expertise in validating the data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) process • Excellent proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts • Hands-on experience with test automation using Selenium WebDriver or Playwright • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies • Familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket, and Micro Focus Octane for test management • Excellent communication and collaboration skills Desired skills: • Banking/Finance domain knowledge • Experience with Tosca • Knowledge of Unix/Shell scripting • Familiarity with Cloud Platforms • Understanding of AI/ML concepts • Experience with Python Pay range: $50.42 - $58.42 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
