Position: Sr. Qualtrics Platform Developer

Location: HYBRID - Torrance, CA 90501
Pay Rate: $74.00 per hour (W2 ONLY)
HYBRID: MUST work ONSITE 4 days per week ( LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!! )
Senior Qualtrics Developer/Subject Matter Expert, this person will perform the following tasks:
• Application design, development, and production support for multiple large projects using Qualtrics technologies.
• Conduct development workstreams, from design through testing and deployment, often working with junior members of the team both offshore and onshore.
• Ensure adherence and constant improvement to the SDLC process and best practices through the development, testing, and support phases, including code reviews, mentoring, and policy governance
• Participate in daily Scrum sessions as an Agile team member.
• Identify enhancements through customer interaction and work directly with them to provide solutions.
• Define systems architecture, design techniques, and development standards to support cross-functional, multi-system solutions that scale and are flexible to meet the future needs of the organization.
• Research and resolve Qualtrics application issues in test and production environments.
• Evaluate the daily and monthly batch process to improve performance and shorten the critical path window.
• Perform Impact Analysis across multiple Qualtrics platforms and applications.
• Deliver complete documentation for estimates, design, and development.
• On-call for production support during off-office hours (night and weekends).
• Create timelines and development goals.
• Provide technical leadership.
• Testing the stability and functionality of the application.
• Writing documents and providing technical guidance/training to other developers.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the application software.
• Perform code review. The job includes other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
• Play the role of a Subject Matter Expert for the Qualtrics applications.
DAILY TASKS:
• Codes and performs unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements.
• Codes, tests, and debugs new software or makes enhancements to existing software.
• Writes programs according to specifications from higher-level staff or business analysts.
• Develop technical documentation.
• Resolves problems promptly that arise with existing production applications to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of application components.
• Collaborates with technical staff to learn and understand software problems.
• Generates a variety of complex and periodic reports and/or data through database management, data administration and data extraction techniques.
• Provides general system users and management with system analysis and feedback.
• Influences system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancements.
• Mentors and coaches less experienced staff.
• Maximizes the efficiency of the various software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing, and auditing new software programs.
• Analyzes and resolves computer-related problems by coordinating with in-house personnel to diagnose and fix operational difficulties, as well as consulting, advising, and training on specialized features and functions.
• Follows established configuration/change control processes.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
• Must have Qualtrics Platform Developer I or II certified.
• Must have hands-on experience with Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• 7+ years of experience with complex Qualtrics Application Development
• 3+ years of experience in leading/managing a workstream on enterprise implementations
• Experience leading, mentoring, and providing technical direction to a team of Qualtrics developers.
• Experienced designing and developing Qualtrics platform features such as custom objects, validation rules, workflows, assignment rules, formula fields, custom reporting, and modifying pages, views, and dashboards.
• Application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems
• Experience in developing customer-facing applications.
• Experience in developing Qualtrics code as per specifications using Qualtrics platform.
• Familiarity with test practices and deliverables for unit testing.
• Interpersonal style that fits the Company culture.
• Experience in working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment and ability to self-motivate and meet deadlines.
• Highly Adaptive and flexible to change.
• Excellent problem solver/analytical thinker.
• Understand Qualtrics capabilities, governor limits, limit monitoring, and best practices for limit-informed development.
