Our Client is Hiring: Quantitative Analyst (Python | Quant | Digital Assets)
Are you a Quantitative Analyst, Index Analyst or Data Analyst with strong Python skills and a passion for digital assets? This is an opportunity to join a leading index provider at the forefront of benchmark innovation - working across design, operations, and methodology for next-generation digital asset indices.
What You’ll Do
• Run and oversee validation models to ensure index integrity
• Perform index reconstitutions using Python and related tools
• Prepare and distribute index announcements to stakeholders
• Set up, test, and deploy new indices and reference rates
• Maintain and enhance index calculation and weighting models
• Collaborate with engineers on defining technical requirements and testing new releases
• Address client inquiries, lead calls, and provide insights on methodologies
• Review and update index methodologies; present recommendations internally
• Troubleshoot issues, monitor data/system alerts, and lead remediation efforts
• Create and maintain operational process documentation and runbooks
• Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and control
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Quantitative Analyst, Index Analyst or similar role
• Solid Python skills; comfortable building models and data pipelines
• Strong knowledge of maths, statistics, and quantitative methods
• Experience working with time-series and large financial datasets
• Solid understanding of financial markets and derivatives; digital assets a strong plus
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with APIs and streaming data is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent project management and the ability to work cross-functionally
